Tried a diff coloring technique- similar to using channels, without actually using channels. lol!
This is Kai and Ampares. It's a rather possessive relationship- in the sense that she feels she has claim on him and only she has the right to kill him (if she can, but she keeps trying haha) and Kai just simply wants to kill her- she's a worthy opponent. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Okay. Seriously now. Wow. I am speechless. What i love about this picture is that i can envison the RP so perfectly that the image is almost torn out of my mind. Ampares's delusional pride and posession, Kai's violence and severe indifference. The love, hate and violence, and sadistic tenderness all summed up in one picture.
Not to mention the technical side - your fooling around with the comic book style and technique just carrying your art into a different dimension. I'm so taken by this image. I'm going to make it onto a wallpaper! I already downloaded the full size xD Looks even better!
